TROUBLES UP AHEAD

YO YO YO!!!! Heres the next part of Kenny x Zarya RP, hehe i want to finish this first and then i will continue with the others XD, sorry if it has some mistakes

Bright.............(sighs) have time for compliments guys?? or for leaving this place huh??

Kenny; Heh, yeah, let's go... (Jumps into the water. Starts blowing up the plastic lining up like a balloon.)

Bright looks around

Zarya...nEEd any help with that, kenny?????

Kenny; Nah, I got it! It's meant to be a floater if either of you are too tired to swim...

bright: heh yeah i go for it....(phewwwww)

Zarya: hehe yeah we are just a bit tired, thanks Kenny (smiles at him)

Kenny; Heh, no prob! Let's get out of here!
(Bright and Zarya grab onto the sides of the floating bag, and swim off from the smoldering battle site. They meet back behind the building they started at.)

Zarya: WOWWWWWWWW that was a wonderful night of adventures >w<, but very scary too ><

Bright.....hehe (they sits down near the building)

Zarya: heh kenny ur sure very good at this job >w<

Kenny; (Rings some water out of his fur.) Heh, I gotta admit, I didn't see that coming! Sneaking into my own base and all... heh, I don't think even Westopolis was that bad! Or maybe that was just from lack of training and what not...

Zarya: heh lack training??? U made a GREAT job in there kenny (laughs)

Bright: heh so Kenny, whats that called eye of chaos?? U got it? (LOOks curious)

Kenny; Huh? Oh yeah! The papers! Hold on... (Quickly takes out the papers, and searches through the folder) Aah! Here we go; "Eye of Chaos" Triangulation...
So what GUN was doing was cross-referencing messages in ruins with ancient civilizations buildings and temples, trying to find a pattern. They figured they could predict where ancient ruins could be that way, instead of digging all over the world, guessing. They've narrowed it down to three locations so far...

Bright........hmmmmm so we have to go to those locations??

Zarya.....uhu hears dangerous, but if that way we will find daddy, i know we can do it

Kenny; (Points to three different places) Mystic Ruins, Red Mountain, and the Carrell Wetlands. GUN has been investigating the Mystic Ruins ever since they destroyed Eggman's base nearby. Red Mountain would easily be a three days journey though. The wetlands I'm pretty sure haven't been explored yet, plus they're the closest...

Bright.....heh then we nEEd to have a rest and then we will head there , am i right??

Zarya: (nods) >w< and get some supplies

Kenny; Yeah, I'm gonna need to get back to my apartment The Relayers are probably wondering why I haven't reported in since the attack... Let's get moving before people get suspicious. News is probably spreading about the attack. Get only the bare essentials and meet me by the train yard at 10 AM tomorrow!

Bright: all right then (starts to walk)

Zarya..........(stays looking down in front of him

Kenny; (Hesitates a bit, and scratches the back of his head) I gotta admit Zarya, I... well...... I ... owe ya, for that whole shield thingy you did back there, that... that was aewsome!....

Zarya:.......>////<....UMM..WELL......u..made...a brave.......umm...act..deffending....meh...from...umm...ermm
every...danger....(loOks down ashamed)

Kenny; Well, I ... uh, heh..... y...you,...... I'm sure you could have taken on everything with that .... water dragon thingy.... you know?

Zarya........maybe....but...(loOks to other side)...U know...i dont like to fight......and..even...hurt people.......or..living things....

Kenny; Well that's good! You shouldn't enjoy it! I ... well... I guess I only enjoy it when... I'm helping people... I guess...

Zarya:....heh i guess ur fight is not bad at all kenny, cause......u do it ...for the ones u care for....as U have said....helping people....is what U do....and its a GREAT thing.....really (nods)

Kenny; Well, thanks.... but... you're kind of doing the same thing too... aren't you? For your dad and everything?

(Kenny stood pondering there for a moment as he scratched his head again. A subtle realization entered his head, "She somehow reminds me of my mother..... maybe that's why I feel this way..." A police siren wails in the distance, reminding Kenny of the responsibilities awaiting.)

Zarya...............(walks to bright lOoking down)

Bright.......(sighs) so ..something happened sis??

The next day approaches. A bit overcast, with random sprinkles here and there. Kenny is sitting next to a de-railed boxcar. He quickly eats a granola bar, finished off a bottled water, then begins to uncover a box slightly hidden under assorted garbage. He opens the box and begins loading bullets into his magazines...)

zarya appears from behind him and cover his eyes

Zarya: >w< GUESS WHO AM I!!!!!!!!!

Kenny; Whoa! Heh... well, let me see... you're far too sweet smelling to be Bright...

Zarya: O///////o (let go of him) ummmmm ....am..I??? hehehhe, yeah its me again...re...ready to go??

Kenny; Heh, yep! Ready when you are! ..... hey, isn't your brother coming?

Zarya: oh him?? he is coming i just...well..(thinks: i runned over here...to see you), XD hehehe he is too slow for keEping up with me X3

Kenny; Heh, kind of eager today huh? (Pauses, then blushes, realizing what could have been meant...) Well, erm.... uh, did... did you get enough sleep last night?

Zarya nods blushed

Zarya: ...an...and..U?

Kenny; I'll be fine. "sigh" man though, I've never heard Lucas so mad before....

Zarya.....mad at you?? what happened? (LOoked curious)

Kenny; Oh, well; Lucas is one of the Relayers working with GUN on the Civilian Vigilance Act. All people working under that act report to them, or are called during times of emergency. But since I wasn't back home when they called, they got mad, and almost called a Court Marshall on it! I acted like I just barely woke up when I answered though, so they just reprimanded me all night. Luckily I was able to convince him I still needed my days off, so I shouldn't have to worry about any problems or duty today...
(Hesitates a bit, then turns away from Zarya...)

Zarya;(gasp).....im..im so sorry.....kenny...this is...all..our fault.......sniff.....sniff (LOoks down almost crying)

Kenny; Huh? No! Hey, it wasn't your...here... (Goes over to Zarya, holds her gently on the shoulder, and wipes the tears with his finger) Believe me, this is nothing. Boot camp would be much more brutal!

Zarya....sniff....i..dont...want to cause u..troubles...sniff.....

Kenny; No! No, it's no trouble at all! Heck, in all honesty, this is the most fun I've had ever since I can remember! Even if it DOES get a bit hard at times.... (Kenny's hand on Zarya's shoulder unintentionally slowly slips down, like a stroke. Kenny takes his hand off a bit abruptly, realizing what was going on. He tries to lean against the boxcar in a relaxed position, but being a bit nervous, he can't help but move around a bit more than usual...) Hey, Zarya? Can... can I ask you something?

Zarya:........(wipes tears off as she lOOks back at kenny).....umm...uh...hmhm...h..what is it???

Kenny; (Hands shake a bit, so he starts twiddling his thumbs...) Well it's just... umm... you, you know...."huff" it'll be a long day going to the ruins and what not so, well.......I was..... "huff" thinking that maybe we.... um.... you and me..... could, uh.... go..... get something to eat.... afterwards?.......

Zarya:....o/////o uhhh.....(gulp)........i....i...would...love..to....do..so...hehe..
>w<...is..its OK with me (walks to him slowly as she walks near but then stops a bit near him)

Zarya...umm well...ohh..loOk..its...brighty...(lOoks over)

Bright....hey im coming sorry for the long waiting!!! (shouted)

Kenny; Huh? Oh! Oh..... uh, hey Bright! Heh, uh, what took you so long?

Bright: heh sorry man, i gathered some supplyes. anyway why u two are like red tomatoes?? XD AHAHAHA

Zarya: >/////< we...we are not!!

Kenny; Alright alright, very funny... Anyway, listen up! I checked the maps earlier, but mine didn't include the updated railways. There's a rail that follows along the ridge above the wetland! We can take one of these pump-trolleys right on over!

Bright: so where can we take the pump-throlley??

Kenny; Ok, take a look. (Pulls out the map, then points near a large cluster of lines) We're here, at the train yard. The 807 goes all along this ridge right here all the way to where Westopolis once was. We don't need to go all the way though, we just need to stop here, (Points somewhere in the middle of the ridge.) Here should give us the best vantage point of the swamp, and help us narrow the search better.

Zarya: WOWO sounds like a really thought way to go throught!!

Bright: swamps, westopolis once was? COOL!

Kenny; I honestly wish I could have brought my GPS, we could just make a bee-line to the coordinates! But that would provide tracking to GUN as well, and chances are they don't want the public just exploring these places, you know? Hope you two don't mind getting dirty, swamps aren't exactly the cleanest places you know...

bRIGHT: XD HAHAH no problem with me KEN!!

Zarya: >w< heheheh sounds really exciting!!

Bright: so what are we waiting for??

One of the trains blows it's whistle and begins to slowly move)
Kenny; That! C'mon, let's go! (Heads over to a trolley car on a connecting track)

Bright and zarya runs following him

Bright: whoaaaaaa we are gonna miss it!!!

Kenny; Alright... (Grabs a rope out of his bag with grapple hooks) Bright! Get on the front, latch this onto the loop there, and hold on! Zarya, this side!

Bright: ROger!!!! (grabs the side of the rope and dashes fast as he holds into the last car bar) UGHHHHH (jumps into it as he rapidly latch the rope into the loop)

BRIGHT: DONE!!!!!(shouts)

Zarya goes to the side Kenny say her to go

Kenny; .....a little enthusiastic today, are we? In case you didn't know, our pump car ain't moving yet. We're gonna see if we can get this hook on the end, get a bit of a lift over there! I gotta warn you though, it's a pretty strong jerk though! You can handle the front, right Bright?

Bright: YEEEEAHHHHH im so excited !!!! i havent have such an adventure like this....hehheh well in a few months after all

Zarya: X3 heheh brighty always make that, he loves to think he is a superhero

Kenny; (Pauses , then turns to Zarya) He doesn't get out much, does he?

Zarya......hehe...well...maybe....is kind..of my fault........(looks down)

Kenny; (Checking for the end of the train, didn't quite hear the last part of what Zarya said, due to the train noise...) Ok, here it comes... better hang tight you two! (Begins to swing the grapple hook above his head...)

Zarya.....OO uhh..Ok

Bright......be prepared!!

Kenny; Going a bit faster than I thought...
(The train end car approaches quickly. Kenny releases the hook, and it sufficiently catches onto the train hitch. In a split second, Kenny grabs the pump handle just as soon as the pump car is violently yanked along with the train! Zarya grip almost slips, when Kenny catches her around the waist. The front pump bar hits Bright in the stomach, almost knocking the wind out of him.)
Kenny; Ugh, I never get used to it...

Bright:...ughhhhhhh >.<.....(holds his Stomach)

Zarya: ><...oh my.....oo (lOOks at kenny holding her waist) O///////O

Kenny; (Doesn't notice Zarya's expression yet) You alright there Bright? Sorry, I figured you being the strongest out of the three of us, you could take it the best!

bright.....ouc....chhhhh.....>.o yeah...i will be fine Ken....hehe th..that was nothing (rubs his stomach)

Kenny; Alright then! As soon as the speed kicks up, it should only take us an hour to get to where the ridge and the swamp meet! Did you guys eat before?

Zarya........o////////o (shocked

Kenny; Heh, well uh... (nervously), you... you keep that to yourself then... literally... (Turns to Zarya)... hey, uh, Zarya? You ok? ..... oh crud, we didn't leave anything behind, did we?

Kenny; Huh? Oh yeah, don't worry 'bout me. I was just saying 'cuz I brought extra stuff in case you guys didn't!


Bright.......hmmm (acted like his stomach still hurts lOoking at them secretly)

Kenny; Oh, right! But I don't wanna intrude if you're not comfortable with it...

Kenny; Wait... that dragon thingy lives INSIDE that thing?!?

Zarya: hehe yup, well he is just kind of a spirit and was sealed in this tiny jewel

Bright...hhe each EJ has a certain spirit, isnt it interesting?

Kenny; Ok, hold on here. You're telling me each and every one of those kind of jewels has some sort of super beast in 'em?!? Man, I gotta get one of those...

Bright: hehe yeah but we have a big responsability over this jewel and its powers

Zarya: we must guard them and use it for good

Kenny; Well I'd hope so! After seeing what those things do, they're in a league of their own! ... What did you guys have to do to get those?

Zarya: hehe well the spirits decide if ur able to be its holder, and then U have to pass a challenge

Bright: yup and if u success on it, then it attach to ur body and thats it >w<

My parents were taking a vacation in Dove Springs when the Black arms attacked. I was staying with a cousin in Westopolis at the same time. After the attack, I checked with officiates on whether they were listed under "Survivors." Thousands of names were unaccounted for. Weeks turned to months, and I finally accepted the fact that they could have died. I was kind of driven by anger at the time, and I almost joined the Marines, but I wanted to stay in touch with family and friends of mine that were still alive. That's when the Civilian Vigilance Act was passed, and so I joined that. About three weeks ago though, I came across one of the causality reports... and I found my mom and dad.....

Kenny; They had barricaded themselves in one of the bedrooms. Both mom and dad took four plasma shots each. My dad had a kitchen knife still in his hand, probably was planning to use it......
Honestly, that hit harder than when I accepted the possibility. It took me a while before I could even get focused enough to work. Even when I was better, I kept thinking about it, and I wondered if I was even helping at all.... but then... well...

I'd given up on my parents long before I got a definite answer, and that was probably the reason why I felt so bad about ... I wanted a way I could say I was sorry......
But... you guys... you didn't give up... even after ten years! I can't remember if I even made it past one... just seeing that... that vigor you two have... it, it made me feel, (Eyes start tearing) it made me feel I could help them, by helping you...them.....mom....

Kenny; (After a moment of realization, Kenny drops to his knees, clenching the pump car handlebar, trying to hold back the tears. Yet they catch on the wind and fly off into the distance. His whispers are barely heard over the wind) Zarya........... mother......... thank you...................

bright: WOWWWWWW!! COOL!!

Kenny: "sniff" Huh? (Looks up at the scenery. Sunlight has pierced through the clouds to several patches of the dense groves throughout the wetland.)Well, will you look at that, it's like they're pointing the way to.... wait.... aaw crud, Bright! Disconnect the cable!!!

Bright. Oo....eh??? (Looks over where the cable was conected) OK!!! I WILL DO IT!! (grabs the cable and disconects it)

Kenny; Ugh, sorry,... completely forgot about all that! Heh... we almost ended up in Westopolis! (The pump car gradually distances itself away from the train, losing speed) Alright guys, see if you can see anything significant out there, give us something to go off of...

Bright: so we must stop around here?? (stars looking around for a place to go off)

Zarya:................o/////o (thinks.......oh my..for some reason...im feeling different)

Kenny; Nah, we gotta wait for the car to stop, just see if you can see anything unusual in the trees now... (Looks at Zarya) ... hey, um, Zarya, you feeling ok?

zarya...........(looks over at him stil blushed) UMM me umm...ye..yeah ..um a..llright HAHAHAHA XD.....(thinks: GOSH >< im acting like a crazy)

Kenny; ... wait a sec, do you get motion sickness?

Zarya: o///o (moves her head from side to side) no..umm..no im fine..really hehehehhe

Kenny; Huh, sorry just...... wait (Squints off in the distance) ... that.... no way, that can't.... (Pulls out a small pair of binoculars from his bag)

Bright:.......huh? (looks in the same direction) what is it??

zarya: huh???? (looks over)

Kenny: (Puts the binoculars away. Looks around frantically, then peers over the car at the wheels. Goes back to his bag, pulls out an empty 45 mm clip, then jams it between the wheel and the platform. Sparks fly with a loud screech as the car slows down much more rapidly, until it reaches a safe speed) Hurry! Get off! Behind that rock!
Bright: all right (as bright saw the rock) Kenny U go in first with zar OK??

ZaRYA; o_o (GULP)

Kenny; I don't think they've seen us yet, hurry! I gotta tell you what we're up against

bRIGHT: ok WHAT is IT!! ken?

ZARYA: (hears carefully)

Kenny; Alright, I hate to say it, but Eggman is probably trying to beat us to the ruins. I saw a colony deposit. seen a couple of 'em before. The good news is that they've only got basic scout 'bots out here, maybe a couple of snipers. But there's still about 25-30 out here, assuming that's the only colony deposit they got out here. The bad news is that they got radio relays up. Meaning, if any of those units out there get attacked, it'll send an alarm, which will send reinforcement dropships over!

Bright: so we must take cover for them not to find Us here , allright good plan

Zarya.....we will give our best

Kenny; Well, here's what I'm thinking. They'll sound the alarm if all of us rush in, so maybe me and Zarya can provide a distraction, while you sneak around and take out the relay before they can respond! The scouts won't nearly be able to catch up traveling through the swamp, kind of clumsy by military standards. Do you think you can handle that?

Bright........(thinks for a sec)

Bright:.......(looks at zarya)

bright: kenny, i will put this straight to U.........U know my sister is all and more for me......if something ever happens to her..i will never forgive U...allright?

zarya..........o////o (thinks: brighty)

Bright: promise me, U will take care of her from any harm,i trust U ken, and i wish U both luck hehe

Kenny; (Pauses, and looks at Bright) Heh, only on one condition; that YOU don't die from going all "commando hardcore" and what not! I saw how carried away you got at the base the other day!

Bright: umm hehe yeah sorry about that.....just the exciting thing all over. hehe, but i promise i will take the things seriously. trust me

Kenny; Well, it's a deal then! (Looks over the rock) Ok, you should follow the rocks all along the ridge going around the swamp. You'll be able to move faster up here, plus, the rocks will give you plenty of cover to avoid getting spotted. (A big grin forms on Kenny's face, as he checks a thing that looks somewhat like a cell phone.) Man, I've been wanting to test this for a LONG time.....

Bright.....ALL RIGHT i got it then, anything else??

Kenny; Yeah, the relay should be a long antennae with blue or green panels on it. If you can cut off the power supply, that should be enough, it doesn't have a fail safe or anything. Now to disable the power...... heck, you know what? Just knock it over, that'll do the trick. Once you do that the 'bots will be a piece of cake to take out. They'll be disoriented 'cuz of being out of communication! Once you take out the 'bots there, take cover at the place until we get there, unless we take a while to get there, then see if you can locate us.

bright: hehe ALLRIGHT!! good luck U two, and zar..be careful......(he said as the rock was near him to jump into)

Kenny; Pheh, that's gonna be hard to in a swamp and all... (Just realized the sexual inuendo, then blushes) .... ah hah, heh... uh, let's get going...

Kenny; By the way, if you hear ANYTHING that doesn't sound natural, lemme know, ok?
(Half an hour later in the swamp...)

Zarya:......wow....we have passed so much time -_- im tired.....

Kenny; It's gotta be the humidity. I'm sorry for dragging you out so far, just wanted to make sure when we set this off, they're not close enough to the base. Don't wanna give Bright too...... whoa get down! (Pulls Zarya over behind a tree...)

Zarya: O_o wah

Kenny; There, up there, you see it? (Points to a metallic green coloring in the trees ahead...) That's one of those sniper drones I was talking about! I'm surprised they're this far out here, thought they'd be closer to the base.... must have been here for quite a while...

Zarya looks over at it

Zarya: (gulp) .....U think.....it havent.....spotted us??

Kenny, Nah, it's just scanning the area..... yeah alright... (Digs into his bag, and pulls out a strange package wrapped in what looks like butcher paper. Some wires and a display show outside the bag.) THIS, is our distraction right here...

Zarya: OO and how ur gonna use that ???

Kenny; Alright, here's what we're gonna do. This timer is set for 30 seconds. It's a bomb filled with C4, magnesium, and a bunch of other stuff I can't pronounce! It's super loud, super bright, and it's gonna be impossible for these 'bots to miss! Once we set this off, we're gonna run back the way we came, up until we cross the stream back there. This time we're gonna go the OTHER way, towards the base to help out Bright. The 'bots will be heading the opposite direction, so we should be able to see 'em coming and stay out of sight!

Zarya.............umm (gulps) sounds...really...cooll..really....eheheh (thinks: i hope i can do this right, i dont want to dissapoint Kenny, after all he trust me, aswell as i do trust him)

Kenny; Alright... (starts pressing buttons) now Zarya, when I start this thing, whatever you do, DON'T STOP RUNNING, understand? I'll stay right beside you...

Zarya: yeah U can count on me kenny >w<

Kenny; Alright, here we go... (Presses a red button, which then starts the timer) RUN!

Zarya: >< hyaaaaaaaaaa (starts to run as fast as she can)

Kenny; WOOOOOOOO!!! (As they fly by the brush, trees, and through the mud, a sniper bolt blasts a large portion of bark near Kenny)
Kenny: WHOA! Crap! Ok, save the yelling for after!

Zarya: Oo KENNY u allright??? dont get distracted!!

Kenny; No worries! Don't stop!
(About two minutes later, they reach the stream)

Zarya: phewwwwwwwww -_- (sits down exhausted)

Kenny; What are you doing Zarya?!? They're moving in, we gotta keep going!

Zarya....i.....i know..kenny....but..i cant give any more steps....im soo tired...

Kenny; ... here... (pulls out a water bottle from his bag) I'm sorry, this is all my fault, I run like this on a daily basis, I shouldn't have pushed you this hard...

Zarya....(grabs the bottle).....no kenny...this wasnt ur..fault.....(drinks of it)...is just that..oh dont worry....i will be fine (stood up) lets get going.(starts to run)

Kenny; Heh, you sure? (Starts running too) You know, it's got to be your will power I envy the most...

Zarya: O/////O......m...my..my will?? power?...

Kenny; Yeah! I've helped out people before, but they would have given up by now! Yet you keep going! I'm really impr....(Blaster shots hit nearby) WHAT?!? They can't have caught up by now!!!

Zarya WAHHH >< ....this is...my fault.....i stopped and....they could get us...

Kenny; Don't give up! They haven't gotten us yet! Just keep running!
(Kenny looks behind him, to see how far the robots are, and in doing so, he slowly distances himself from Zarya unknowingly. When he turns around, he hits an old wooden plank that was sticking up. Not all the letters are visible.)

Kenny; ZARYA!!!

Zarya stops, far the place where kenny hit himselft

Zarya: oh GOSH OO kenny U OK over there?? come on hurry up!! (as she feels the ground under her turning a bit bland and strange) huh?? (looks down)

Kenny; (Gets up and starts running) ZARYA! WATCH YOUR STEP!!

Zarya..><...kyaaaaaa (started getting sucked by the sand)

zarya moved trying to get out but it only get herselft more deep in

Zarya:....(thinks:.......no,,,i cant use my powers.....i dont have the energies....to..even use...leviah tsunami)

Kenny; ZARYA? (Skids up right next to the quicksand) Aaw crud this is not good... (Looks back to see if robots are following...)

zARYA:....KE...KENNY.!!!..wh..waht should i do?? ><
(half of her body now in the quicksand)

zarya:.......AHHHHHHH ><

Kenny; (Thinks while glancing back and forth between Zarya and where the robots might come...) Alright, let's hope this works! (Unhitches one of the links on his bag strap, then balances on one of the roots of a large tree, extending out into the quicksand, then hurls the bag towards Zarya, holding onto the strap end.) Zarya! Grab on!
(She reaches, and struggles to grasp the bag, but it's not long enough...)

Zarya..ughhhh....><..i..cant...reach it...gahhhhh!! (is sucked more deep as only her head and hands are shown)

Kenny; No, NO! DANGIT!! (More frantically looks through his bag for anything, when mechanical marching can be heard in the distance.)
Kenny; (To himself) What can I do? I don't wanna run, but I don't wanna see her die...
(Thoughts rush into his head, memories of how Zarya protected him at the base, along with vague thoughts about his own family...)
Kenny; (To Himself) ... She'd do the same for me...
(Kenny takes out a Bowie knife, and thrusts it into the large exposed tree root as hard as he can. It buries itself almost half the length of the blade. He then loads a fresh clip into his 45 mm, sticks it into his shorts, and latches one end of the bag strap to the knife. Holding the other side of the bag, he hurls himself in after zarya. The quicksand instantly envelops his ankles, as he firmly grabs Zarya by the wrist.)
Kenny; Whatever you do, don't let go!!!

Zarya...Ke....kenny......aghh (looked over at kenny doing all what he can to help her)

zarya grabs his wrist with her other hand

Zarya: I will....not let it go...(thinks: kenny, ur doing all...of this..for me...)

her EJ started to glow with an intense shine

Kenny; (Pulls as hard as he can on the bag, only inching along as the mechanical stomping gets louder) Crap, this is gonna get dicey REAL fast here! Zarya, try and kick like you were swimming if you can!

Zarya...yeah...(moves her legs like swimming)>< ghhh

zarya: OO kenny....be careful behind U!!!!!!

Kenny; (Without looking back to check, he lifts Zarya onto his waist with a loud squelch from the suction of the quicksand. With another hand free now, he takes the 45mm out of his shorts, turns around and starts firing) Let's hope Bright got there in time!!! (Six shots take down two robots taking cover)

Zarya:....o///o...i..know..he will....(lOOks over at kenny)thanks..kenny...im always causing...troubles..heheh(looks down blushed) (thinks:....and..im again near ur body.....that.....is...so..warm) >/////< (thinks: what the hell!! im thinking about)

Kenny; (Firing from the front now) What was that Zarya? (He pulls slightly closer to the knife with his bag, when stray bullets hit the tree, and splash through the mud. To himself, he says) Ok, this is DEFINITELY "worst case scenario!" (Inches away from the large root, suddenly, a stray bullet hits the strap and rips it off of the knife) No, no! NO! DANGIT!!!
(Three robots come into view from the trees. Kenny pulls out the pistol again, and unloads the rest of the clip, eliminating the three robots. As they fall, a large array of distant movement can be seen. He struggles to reach the root, as the mud reaches his armpits.)
Kenny; I take that back, it's BEYOND worst case scenario!!!

Zarya:....oh..no...now...what..shall..we..do...><

Zarya..(thinks: im so scared...to even think what to do, we are going..to..die..here...sniff)

her EJ glowed more

Zarya....(huh? looks at it) leviah?

Kenny; (Reaches even more) No.... dangit...... I promised! DANGIT!!! (Punches through the surface of the mud in frustration, when he finds a solid object. The tree root extended out into the quicksand below the surface!) No way..... YES!
(Exhausted at this point, he sets a foot hold, only to see about 12 robots crossing the stream ahead. He thinks for a second, then grabs his bag, and pulls out the object that looked like a cell phone. He looks at Zarya)
Kenny; Zarya? How much do you trust me?

Zarya:...o////o well...i...i.....

zarya:....(looks at his face)

Zarya:...........i have ...all..my trust in U kenny

>////< (blushes more while her EJ glows more)

Kenny; (Everything stops for Kenny. The noise, the peril, everything freezes for Kenny as he stares into Zarya's eyes. He can't help but ponder to what extent she meant when she said that. A wave of warmth floods his feeling.)
Kenny; (In thought) I... I don't understand... i've barely known her for three days, and yet.... I'm scared to death for her.... I... don't want to see her suffer..... I don't.... I don't think I ever felt this way..... even about my own parents.......
(He recollects his thoughts as the marching gets louder)
Kenny;... huh? OH! Right! Zarya we're going under! Hold your breath on the count of three! One... two...
(Presses a button on the cell phone object, then throws it onto the shore)
Kenny; ... THREE!

Zarya:.....OK...(breaths deep and the holds it) ><

(They both submerge their heads under the quicksand. What they didn't see is the glowing blue circle forming around them on their way down. It looked like Zarya's Leviathan.)
(The machines converge on the shore of the quicksand, scanning the area for the two. Suddenly, an obnoxious ringtone goes off below them. Right as they all turn, looking at the object, the phone detonates, massacring the squad, making a small crater. The blast can be heard even through the mud. After the blast, Kenny pushes on the tree root, trying to push Zarya up to the surface.)

Zarya:.....(thinks: i want..to help..if kenny keeps pushing me up...he will not have energies to come by himselft.)

Zarya:....(thinks: and i dont want...that ><)

a strange sound hears throught her head as she seems to recognize it and smile making a nod

zarya closes her eyes and her whole body glows with a blue shine

leviah in form of water takes them both out of the remaining quicksand and then leaves them in the shore, as it finally vanishes letting the EJ shine goes lower than normal

Kenny; (Plops onto the shore on his stomach with a muddy splat, exhausted and out of breath, his hand slips off of Zarya's waist...)

Zarya:.....(pants).....ke...ke..kenny...(sighs)...(laying down next to him, eyes barely opened)

Zarya:..he...hehehe....we....we..mad..made..it...(pants)

Kenny; (Lifts his arm again and places it onto her shoulder.) "huff" You... are you alright? "huff" Nothing... cut or... scraped?
(All is quiet as before, only the natural sounds of the swamp give ambience. The wind gently blows, making the mud covering them a bit cold.)

zarya:....(faintly smiles athim)...me??..heh...yey
im OK......just...ughh...well..more..exhausted..than..
ever...heheheh

Kenny; Nnnghh... (His arm shakes as he tries to prop himself up) What a mess...that...that was too close for anyone. I'm sorry I had to drag you through all this. Here, let me clean you off... (He starts wiping the mud off of Zarya's face, and works his way down...)

Zarya:......tha...thank..you...o///o (her EJ barely shining)

ZARYA: i...i..think,,it...was...so..close...too..ehheheh

Kenny; (Stroking the mud off of her shoulders, arms, and waist) How... "huff" how did we get out? I just... remember pushing, and "huff"... and then we just... well..."huff" got out...

Zarya.......hehe...well..it..was...kind..of..(closing eyes slowly).....l...le.....v..

zarya:...........

Kenny; Zarya? (He suddenly realized where he was wiping the mud off of; her thighs. He quickly drew his hands back, blushing even though no one else was around...)
Kenny; Wow... (looking at Zarya's face and figure as she lay asleep) ... heh, she could top the model on the front of that "Cosmopolitan" magazine, mud and all... (He leaned against the large tree, and pulled out a granola bar, trying to rest up. Though, something was troubling him...)
Kenny; Pheh... she really misses her dad... if she's willing to put up with a noob like me.....
(Zarya curls up a bit)
Kenny; Man, what a way to treat a girl... yeah, what have I put you through so far? Let's see; I made you perform First Aid, drug you illegally into a military base in the middle of the night, darn near got you and your brother shot, crushed, or killed SEVERAL times, made you protect my sorry skin as well, stuck you two on a train, drug you through several miles of putrid swamp, almost got you shot there as well, make you run cross-country, and darn near drown you in quicksand! ... heh... it's like a resume for bad karma or something...
(Stares at Zarya sleeping more sincerely now...)
Kenny; "sigh" I wish I could protect you better...
(A distant sound of shattering glass barely breaks the silence)
Kenny; Huh?... Oh! Bright! ... heh, must be getting bored over there! (Stretches his arms and legs, then looks at Zarya again) ... she deserves to rest though......
(Carefully as to not disturb her, Kenny picks up Zarya in both his arms, and begins to walk towards the base...)

zarya.......zzzzzzzzz.....(whispers)..ke.....kenny

Kenny; Mm? Zarya?

Zarya...........zzzzzz(cuddles with his chest)

Kenny; Ah.. um... uh... (blushes intensely. His walking pace slows down. He doesn't even realize how tired he still is.)

Zarya........umm.....uh...(slowly opening her eyes)

Kenny; (Darn near freezes in place. Heart pounds even more. Thinks to himself,) Wait, why am I so freakin' tense?!? She's just waking.... up...

Zarya...huh...huh?? (looks up at his face)..o////o...umm..oh...h..hi..(realises she is in his arms) >////< (thinks: OMG!!!!!!)

Kenny; (Face is completely red) Umm... h..hi.Zar... Zarya..... I, uh.... I can explain...

Zarya: O//////O muumm..uh..hu....it...its..OK..i know...it..really....u..dont need ..to......be...ashamed...heheheh (thinks: OHHHHHH wow...ifeel...so..comfortable..being...near..him..
.and..secure)

Kenny; (Now he's frozen mid-step. Despite being embarassed, he still tries to squeeze out a smile) Heh... umm....

Zarya.......o////o...um..kenny?..U...OK?

Kenny; W, well it's just.... um... uh.... no, that's not it, it's um.... well.. I....I.....
(Loud crunching can be heard in the near distance. they both turn to see Bright on top of the structure, seeing how far he can throw the remains of the robots.)
Kenny; ...heh, I think it's about time we checked up on your brother!... heh....

Zarya....oo...oh hehe (giggles)..allright..

Bright: HAHAAAAAAA TAKE THAT ROBOTBOTIES!! YAHOOOO

Kenny; (Comes out of the brush. Calls out to Bright) HAVING FUN UP THERE?!?

Bright: (looks over) I SURE DO >W< !!!! OO..HUH?? OMG ZAR!!!!!! (goes down) WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED??
(walks over to them)

Zarya.....oo...umm..no..nothing (whispers to kenny) whatever U do...dont tell him we were in danger ><

Kenny; Well, um, we.... we had to get through rivers and what not, heh, I mean, it IS a swamp after all!

Bright.......hmmm yeah sure...so why ur having my sis in ur arms ken???? (glares at him)

Zarya: O_O

Kenny; (back to blushing) Well, um, yeah...we were kinda... tired and, well... I.. you didn't want me to leave her behind, did you?

Bright....hmm well u have a point..so i forgive U man

Zarya.....phewwwww heheh im fine..brighty..

Bright.....U guys...seems tired? U two really want to continue?

Kenny; Might as well, I mean, we came this far! And the robots shouldn't be any trouble anymore! Here, Zarya? You wanna reach into my bag right there? I think there's a couple of granola bars still in there...

Zarya:....heh...well...i guess..i can move now..that i have rested a bit.>w<, could U put me down=?

Bright...hehe but what about U ken? U feEL ready to go into?

Kenny: Huh? OH! Right... (Puts Zarya down) And yeah, don't worry about me. Just, uh... haven't gotten used to the smell here, you know? Heh...

Zarya.....huh? the smell?

Bright.....well now, all those roboheads are out of fight, where we need to head up to?

Kenny; (Nudges Zarya) Ah heh... yeah well, um... lemme think... Bright? Are any of the computers still on here?

Bright........ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....heheheh...i......
well..maybe..one can still works..heheheh that one over that little building (points behind him)

Zarya: (sighs)..brighty..

Kenny; Oh good! I was worried we'd have to start from scratch! If that computer is still up, it's probably connected to the main server, which means it probably has a record of all the areas they've checked! That should make our job MUCH easier!

Bright: ok THEN i can show U where i saw it (starts to walk guiding them inside the little building)

zarya.....i hope we can find..something

They come to an obscure hatch. It's size suggests it was meant only for the robots.)
Kenny; This is it? Huh... (Starts fiddling with what looks like a combination lock functioning as the handle)

Bright:....WOWWWWWWWW (looks around amazed)

Zarya.....><....for some reason im scared

Kenny; (Backs away from the lock, looking very satisfied) Heh, that should do it.
(Kicks the lock as hard as he can. There's a metallic 'pop' and other odds and ends can be heard tumbling around on the other side. The door slowly leans open...)
Kenny; Alright, what have we got here...

Bright...hey kenny ur so good at this hehe

Zarya....(gulp)......(shivers a bit)

Kenny; Heh, what do you mean? Breaking stuff is easy! You just gotta know how... like what you were doing with the 'bots over there?
(He opens the hatch, and peers inside. Electric buzzing and computer beeping can be heard over a quiet alarm and a flashing red light)
Kenny; Heh, that's a good sign!

Bright: OO WHAt?? a good sign??, it isnt the bots head, will be in here in no time!!

Zarya.....oo

Kenny; Don't you remember Bright? You destroyed the relay tower! This alarm signal isn't going anywhere! (Walks over to the alarm light.) Now it's just a nuisance... (Slams his fist down, smashing the alarm.) Alright guys, look around to see if you can find any maps, or papers with coordinates on them... (Starts ruffling through a nearby stack.)

Bright......huh?? ohhhhhhhhh yeah i remember that XD AHAHHA, sorry man i think im not getting used to this military stuff hehe

Zarya....ohh well lets search around bro (starts looking for the maps)

bright:....hmhmhmmh (looking under the desks)

Kenny; (Still searching) So they weren't much trouble then Bright? The 'bots?

Bright: nahhhh man, it was so easy hehe, what u tell me about ur little adventure in the swamp eh???? (looks at him)

Zarya: O/////O (thinksh crap)(was searching under another desk as she stoods up fast hitting her head)

Kenny; Whoa! Zarya, you ok? (Walks over to Zarya, when he sees a suspicious document) Hey.... wait a sec.....

Zarya: >.o huh?? what U found kenny??

Kenny; Not sure... (Goes through the papers a bit.) Hold on... (Goes to the main computer, and starts typing things found on the papers...)

Bright looks from behind kenny what he was doing

zarya:.......(walks near to see)

Kenny; Access recent records.... recent dig sites...... sonar readouts... (A bit more furious typing)... bypass access, enter serial number....... crap, WAIT! Bright! Those robots you took out, did any of them look different from the others?

bRIGHT: hmmm (put his hand on his chin)i guess so, i remember some red robots and the other were very alike, why?

Kenny; The server is asking for the serial number of an administrator robot. If we can get that, we can get access to all the records on the computer! Can you bring one of those back here?

Bright: right away!!!!hehe (goes out to search for the robot)

Zarya....oh all this electronic stuff.....it seems so difficult kenny, but U type so fast, like a professional >w<

Kenny; Meh, I just think I have a knack for this sort of thing! Used to play around with the guys having Walke-talkies, and trying to play tag with the security cameras. You wouldn't think they'd have so many firewalls for that sort of thing though!

Zarya: ohh wow hehe >w< (thinks: i wonder how he used to be when he was a kid, awwwwww he must have been cute x3, and still is)(blushes a bit while smiling)

Bright: here i brought the two things here uggggghh (pulls the two red robots there), i hope U dont mind them being a bit...well crashed hehe

Kenny; Let's see..... yeah, these DEFINITELY aren't your basic drones! (Starts checking under each robot for a legible serial number on the shoulder...)
Kenny; Got it! Now we just... (Barely tugs on the arm, and it pops out of socket. Stands there a little shocked...) Freak, Bright! You went to town on these guys!!

Bright:.....hmm?? i did what? o_o

Kenny; Um.... nevermind. (Types serial number into computer.) Aaaand.... we're in! (A digital map of the swamp pops up, with several yellow dots all over. Kenny gets down and digs around for papers in his sack.)

Bright...(thinks: gez i thought i did something wrong hehehh X3)

Zarya...(looks at the map in the computer screen)

Bright:.....so what are those yellow points in the map ken?

Kenny; I'm guessing they're sites they've already checked. It explains why we saw snipers way up here! (Points to the top part of the map, where a few dots are.) Luckily though, we've got the triangulation! (Holds up the triangulation report.) Alright then...

Bright: so our next stop is that place right?

Zarya:....COOL >w<

Kenny; Looks like it! The only problem is we still don't have any kind of GPS, or land mark to go off of... we could just end up getting lost in there...

zarya: T.T AWWWWWWWW, now what?

Bright......hmmm thats a good point

suddendly two shadows were seen reflecting from their backs

???: ohhh looks like someone got in the place before us

??: thats too bad

Zarya: OO WHOAAAA

bRIGHT: whos there?

Kenny; (Instinctively pulls out his 45mm) DON'T MOVE! Wouldn't be the first time I've killed someone...

a big snow leaopard appears with a little red panda in his shoulder

??: heheh kid i will take that thing off, if i were U

???: (growls)

Zarya:....(thinks: oh no we have problems)(steps back)

Bright...grrr what U guys want here?

Kenny; (Thinks to himself, gun still raised) These aren't just some run-of-the-mill thugs. They must be after the "Eye" as well! I could drop that guy with two shots easy, the panda might be a problem though...)

Red: well well kids, thanks for doing the hard job on here, now just step aside , the Eye of Chaos will be ours heheheh

Blue:....(growls)

Red: (smirks) ur facing the most awesome couple of private detectives in the world, so dont make anything stupid (looks at Kenny)
